We are Sai Young Adults!

Sairam! Please see the below note from the SSSIO National YA Team.

Dear Sai Young Adults,

Loving Sairam! We hope that you and your families are happy, healthy and safe by Swami’s divine grace.

Over the last few weeks, we have witnessed several developments related to the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) and Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSSGC). It is no secret that the current moment has found us all in a difficult situation, filled with much devastation, heartbreak, and division, not by our spiritual goals, but by choices many are finding themselves being asked to make. And given all that we have faced and lost over the past year and a half, due to the pandemic, social issues, and political chaos, to now witness such a deep fissure develop within our own spiritual community, has created a distinct sadness that we never could have anticipated. At this crucial time, it is all the more important for each of us to strengthen our faith in Swami and His plan.

In looking across both organizations, SSSIO and SSSGC, we see our own parents, SSE gurus, closest friends, and other members of the Sai community who have assisted us greatly in establishing our own connection with our sweet Bhagavan over the years. We see individuals who have nurtured us, raised us, and showered us with the purest love, guiding us to become the very people we are today. It is important to recognize that we all have more in common than what divides us. We pray that we all understand this current moment is a time for unflinching and compassionate self-reflection. We pray that we continue that loving kinship that we developed over the years, regardless of our affiliation.

We want each one of you to know that we are in this together. Based on sentiments that were expressed by several Sai Young Adults across the US, there is a common wish that echoes in all our hearts with fervor and sincerity - to continue serving and devoting ourselves to our dear Swami as a unified front, which was also lovingly conveyed to all the senior leadership in the form of a letter. It gives us enormous strength to realize that these sentiments are reflective of our collective love for Bhagawan, and of our dedication to serve Him with all our heart, mind and soul.

The SSSIO-USA Young Adult activities will remain open to participation from all Sai Young Adults. Let us continue to work together and evolve joyfully, as we always have, without any restrictions to impede our collective sadhana. As we move forward in the Divine Mission, as Swami’s children, let us continue to strengthen our faith in Swami, for He is our only eternal companion!
