Dear Regional Young Adults Coordinators and Advisors,
Loving Sairam!
With Bhagawan's blessings, we are delighted to share that Padmashree Ravindra has been appointed as the new USA National Young Adult Female Coordinator.
First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Shanti Pancharatnam (outgoing National Young Adult Female Coordinator) for her dedication and inspiring service to Swami and the Young Adult program, USA. Shanti inspired many Young Adults with her honest communication and speaking from her heart. Her passion for study circles was evident in her creative presentations which encouraged lively & thoughtful discussions on various topics. Her non-judgmental leadership style made her very approachable to all Young Adults and adults. Shanti played a key role in several national and international initiatives including the National Young Adult Leadership Retreat 2018, Zonal Young Adult Festival 2019 hosted in the USA, and several national initiatives which helped provide a range of opportunities for Young Adults to connect with Swami. Her contributions to Cultural Inclusion and Expansion (CIE) efforts were very valuable and her travel stories had beautiful insights into seeing divinity everywhere and in everyone. Shanti’s keen focus on wellness, physical, mental and spiritual, is motivating to everyone, to participate enthusiastically in a wide range of activities as well as to step aside, when needed, for self-care.
Shanti will be dearly missed; we hope she continues to share her stories and inspires everyone to see angels all around. We will be counting on her continued support and encouragement to the Young Adult program. Please join us in expressing our utmost gratitude to Shanti for her loving leadership and pray that Swami continues to shower His grace always!
Please join us in welcoming Padmashree to the National Young Adult team. Padmashree was born into a Sai family in India, and experienced a strong Sai connection as she participated in several service initiatives as part of the Mahila (Womens) youth group in Bangalore. And there has been no looking back! In 2008, she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina for graduate school and had the opportunity to serve as the Center Young Adult Representative. After moving to Seattle with her husband, Suresh, she served as the Center Devotional Coordinator for Sri Sathya Sai Center of Sammamish and Vice-President for Region 6. She is a graduate of the 2017 Sri Sathya Sai International Leadership Program (SSSILP) and currently serving as the Young Adult coordinator for Region 6. She feels very fortunate and blessed to be part of His work. Padmashree and her husband enjoy Nature and gardening together. Professionally, Padmashree holds a PhD degree in Computer Science and works as a Software Engineer at Microsoft.
With Bhagawan's blessings, may our Young Adult program continue to be strong and vibrant and always inspiring to one and all. And may each be inspired to live the message of Sai and be a messenger of His love and light!
With Love and Gratitude,
Lakshman, Laxmi and Hari
