Art Supplies Drive | Service Project (Aradhana Day Celebrations)

Kids and Art Foundation is an organization that helps children with cancer heal by including arts and crafts in their treatment plans with doctors. Along with this, they also organize various activities and workshops during the year for children with cancer.

Kids & Art's weekly hospital workshops support families as they are in and out of their clinic appointments. During wait times and in between appointments, the staff and volunteers engage with participants to create, connect, and refocus through art making. Oftentimes, patients have long periods of waiting time even once called inside, or they are hooked to IVs for several hours while getting infusion treatments. These ready-to-go art kits help make the art experience portable and keep the children engage in something positive throughout their day.

On the occassion of Swami's 10th Aradhana Day this year, we will be collecting and dropping off art kits that will be used by the children and families in hospitals to give children a positive creative outlet and help them heal.
